The Open University has considered the Education and Training Programme from the National Council for Hypnotherapy and assigned a credit value to the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) as follows.
Open University Credits for Hypnotherapy Practitoner Diploma (HPD):
45 points at Undergraduate Level 1 (FHEQ Level 4/SCQF Level 7)
This provides an endorsement of the quality, amount and level of the learning within the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (FHEQ) and credits for the course.
Students receive their award from the NCH, and in addition can download a certificate confirming the credit award from the OU website.
Students may find this helpful if they wish to study at the Open University or other higher education institutions.

Hi Guys…
I’ve tried the link to the OU website to download a ‘certificate’ and it’s not as simple as your instructions suggest. I could not find the NCH or Hypnotherapy mentioned anywhere in their accredited organisations.
Do we have to wait until they have updated their website?
Thanks,
Tam
Hi Tam,
The OU say that it is going to take a couple of weeks for the NCH to appear on their site to allow certificates to be downloaded.
Our certification is confirmed here:

As soon as we get a direct link to the certificate page from them, we’ll update the news item.
Cheers
John
The OU have now added us to their website, and the news item has been updated with a direct link to the certificate.
