CPD Event title: Changing Addictive Behaviours Workshop with Daniel Mirea (BABCP)
Brief Description Of Event: The UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy is excited to be hosting this one-day workshop: Changing Addictive Behaviours (Substances, Gambling and Sex). Learning Objectives: You will be able to understand the assessment and conceptualisation of addictive behaviours.
You will understand the difference between substance addictions and gambling addictions or other addictions.
You will understand the limitations of self-report measures of ‘controlled’ processes in addiction.
You will understand how to integrate skills.
You will be able to develop new therapy techniques and adapt existing techniques so that you are better able to target the distorted cognitive processes that maintain addiction.
