Overview

Hypnotherapy & Emotional Wellbeing Support

Bicester, Oxfordshire | Online Sessions Available

I’m Andy Selway-Woolley (MNCH Reg., HPD, DSFH), a Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, offering both in-person and online sessions to adults and young people aged 16+.

I work in a calm, forward-focused way, supporting emotional wellbeing and helping people move towards feeling more settled, confident, and within their control. My approach is practical, structured, and centred on your strengths and goals, rather than analysing problems in depth.

I am fully insured and a registered member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH).

Initial Consultation / Discovery Session

I offer a 60-minute Initial Consultation / Discovery Session, which provides space to explore what has brought you here, discuss what you would like to be different, and assess whether Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy is appropriate for you.

This session is not therapy itself, but a structured and supportive assessment to ensure the approach is safe, suitable, and aligned with your goals. If needed, I am also happy to have a brief introductory conversation beforehand to answer questions and help you decide whether to book.

Initial Consultations can be booked directly via my website.

How I Can Support You

I specialise in Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, which supports people in moving forward by building on existing strengths, developing coping strategies, and creating clearer direction.

I commonly work with people seeking support around:

Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm, including managing pressure and emotional reactivity

Low mood, supporting emotional wellbeing and resilience

Sleep difficulties, including trouble switching off or maintaining restful sleep

Confidence and self-esteem, including unhelpful self-talk and limiting beliefs

Fears and phobias, such as fear of flying, needles, driving, or social situations

Weight management, supporting healthier habits and a more balanced relationship with food

IBS, focusing on the stress-related and emotional components (GP diagnosis recommended)

Motivation and procrastination, supporting focus, clarity, and follow-through

Relationship and communication difficulties, both personal and professional

All work is tailored to the individual, and progress is reviewed collaboratively as we go.

Inclusive Support for the LGBTQIA+ Community

I provide inclusive and affirming support for individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community. My practice is grounded in respect, openness, and awareness of the unique pressures and experiences that can impact emotional wellbeing.

Whether you are navigating stress, relationships, identity-related concerns, or psychosexual challenges, you can expect a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space.

Supporting Men with Psychosexual Concerns

I have a particular interest in supporting men with psychosexual concerns (non-medical), including difficulties such as erection confidence, premature ejaculation, anorgasmia, or delayed orgasm.

These experiences can have a significant emotional impact, and my approach focuses on building confidence, reducing performance-related pressure, and supporting a healthier relationship with intimacy and sexuality. Sessions are delivered with sensitivity, discretion, and respect.

Support for Small Business Owners & Organisations

I also work with small business owners, supporting them with the stress, pressure, and emotional load that often comes with running or growing a business.

In addition, I collaborate with organisations and HR teams to support employee wellbeing, focus, and resilience. This may include one-to-one support as part of a broader workplace wellbeing strategy, particularly in high-pressure or demanding environments.

Discounted Sessions

As a gesture of appreciation, I offer a 10% discount for:

NHS staff, Emergency Services & Blue Light Card holders, Armed Forces personnel and Veterans
