I am Sarra Awan, a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and Anxiety Management Practitioner based in central London. I offer therapy both online and face to face.

I help people with a wide range of problems, specialising in offering therapy for Generalised Anxiety Disorders (GAD) and stress issues such as depression, worry, social anxiety, phobias, fears, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD), weight management , insomnia and related issues such as building resilience and confidence in your personal and professional life.

Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural therapy are each proven effective and long-lasting psychotherapeutic approaches in their own right.
I use scientifically validated techniques and combine Hypnotherapy with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to offer a powerful and unique approach to help you feel better as quickly as possible and achieve change at the very deepest levels. Through this combination of cognitive restructuring and powerful hypnotic suggestions, we can tap into resources you didn’t even know you had.
My focus is to help you identify and challenge irrational or unhelpful automatic thoughts and beliefs and replace them with more realistic and adaptive ones so that you can take control of your unwanted behaviours.
Ultimately, my aim is to enhance your resilience against stress and anxiety while promoting flexibility in your thought processes and actions. This empowerment enables you to cultivate confidence, proficiently manage emotions, and elevate your sense of control, purpose, worth, and overall well-being,

I enjoy taking time to get to know my clients and understand their concerns and goals. I will collaborate with you to design a treatment plan tailored around your own individual needs and specific challenges rather than taking one size fits all approach. I gain great satisfaction from enabling my clients to find their solution and providing them with the tools and skills to become their own best therapist.

I use a clinical evidence-based approach to build trust and confidence among my clients, which means I keep up to date with the latest research findings and my approach is based on the best up to date evidence and is aligned with the conclusions of, among others, the British Psychological Society, the British Medical Association and the American Medical Association.

My therapy sessions are conducted confidentially, with a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental approach, fostering a relationship built on understanding and collaboration to guide you towards achieving your goals.

My Qualifications:
- I have a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH), accredited by the National Council for Hypnotherapy, the General Hypnotherapy Register, the Register for Evidence-Based Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and recognised by the British Psychological Society.
-I m a registered practitioner Hypnotherapist with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) , the NCH and an accredited member of the ACCPH , I am bound to their stringent codes of ethics.
- I have a diploma in Stress Management and Resilience Building- accredited by the International Stress Management Association (ISMA).
-I have a certification in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Anxiety from the Beck Institute.
- An Advanced certification in Holistic Lifestyle and Nutrition coach accredited by ACCPH.
