Overview

Hello and welcome. A wee bit about me. I have worked within the NHS for almost 40 years as a nurse in various areas including ITU, community and as an advanced nurse practitioner. I first became interested in hypnotherapy after studying Solution Focused Brief Therapy during my studies introducing me to Milton Erickson and leading me to an interest in hypnotherapy and the power of the mind. I studied hypnotherapy at the UK Academy Scotland achieving a diploma in clinical and advanced hypnosis, hypnotherapy in practice diploma and a certified Neuro Linguistic Programmer practitioner. I have a vast experience working within health service and felt drawn to working with the subconscious mind to help individuals in a different way to overcome fears, anxieties and to give them confidence to achieving their personal goals or just working through whatever is holding them back to make a positive change to give them the best outcome in their desired goal. I believe that wellbeing is holistic incorporating mind, body and soul.
From a personal perspective I am a certified grief educator after training with David Kessler(Grief.com) and give time as a caring listener with a charity that supports parents who have lost a child/children as I have. I love animals particularly horses and paint them. I practice yoga, wild swimming and truly believe that hypnotherapy is a powerful tool to help individuals achieve their goals when committed working in partnership with hypnotherapist.
