I'm Sharon Snelgrove and I am a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner, certified Hypnotension practitioner and Mind Factor Coach, based in Ferndown, Dorset.
Before I trained to be a hypnotherapist I came from a training background, working with individuals and teams in areas such as personal development, performance, morale and motivation. In 2010 I looked to change career as I had a young family and also felt I had more to offer than training individuals to perform better just in their workplace. I have a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges in their personal, professional and sporting environments, which is what led me to hypnotherapy.
I believe everyone has the ability to make positive change in their life, whether improving sports performance, breaking habits, achieving career goals, overcoming fears, phobias or anxieties or simply increasing self-confidence. Hypnotherapy and its many techniques and applications have been proven to help treat a wide variety of issues and have helped many people overcome their personal obstacles and challenges.
At Inner Game Hypnotherapy I treat everyone as an individual with their own unique goals and requirements. With this in mind, treatment plans are tailored to your specific needs, with the aim of helping you to recognise and fulfil your true potential.
I offer a free initial consultation, at which we can discuss your requirements and I will explain how hypnotherapy works and the benefits it can bring, I also dispel the many myths surrounding hypnotherapy. Following this consultation I create a bespoke treatment plan, which is explained to you before obtaining your agreement to continue. In general the average number of session required is 4-6, with clients sometimes starting to see benefits after just one session. At each session we discuss progress so far and if necessary make changes to the treatment plan before continuing, this ensures we are working at the right pace for you and the techniques we are using are suited to you.
Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, in which you will play an active part and may be required to complete tasks outside of our sessions together. These tasks are designed to complement and enhance the work we do together and are an important part of the process.
