Janey Barrett

Janey is a Reflexologist and Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, working in Bristol.

Having worked as a Reflexologist and body worker for over 20 years, I trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy as an effective means of addressing the root of many issues. The principle philosophy behind my work is founded on bringing back the balance. The body and the mind are inextricably linked, with imbalance in one having a knock-on effect with the other if left unchecked. By bringing the body and the mind back to a state of equilibrium, we are restoring optimum health and vitality.

Hypnosis is a natural and effective technique for accessing the subconscious mind – the key to unleashing our potential, changing our unwanted habits and behaviours and finding solutions to our problems and concerns.
The subconscious mind is our blue-print. Our beliefs, habits and behaviours are stored as information by the subconscious. It is also a tremendous reservoir of our unrecognised strengths and knowledge. Hypnotherapy gently acts as a bridge to guide us to the source of the pattern of behaviour or anxieties which you want to address. We all have the answers within; Hypnotherapy is just guiding us to reach our full potential.

Clinical Hypnotherapy refers to the integration of elements of many other forms of therapy into Hypnotherapy. This includes behavioral psychology, cognitive psychology, NLP as well as effective elements from the classical theories.
Clinical Hypnotherapy uses advanced methods of hypnosis and other techniques to treat a variety of medical and psychological problems.
