Overview

I am an experienced clinical hypnotherapist and mindfulness teacher who is passionate about helping women and young people cope with a wide range of problems. I specialise in helping clients with anxiety and anxiety related disorders, low self-esteem, confidence issues, stress and low mood. I genuinely care about helping others though the challenges of life and I am particularly concerned about mental health and emotional well-being. My work involves using an integrated approach that is informed primarily by neuroscience, hypnotherapy, neurolinguistic programming, cognitive behaviour therapy, counselling skills and theory. Being able to use a variety of techniques gives me the opportunity to work in a flexible way that suits you personally because I appreciate that no one size fits all.

I mainly draw upon Solution Focused Hypnotherapy which:

• Employs the use of modern, research-based techniques for positive results in a relatively short period of time.
• Is underpinned by up-to-date developments in neuroscience.
• Focuses upon what the client wants to achieve rather than the problem.
• Is a collaborative process which engages the client in focusing upon the present and desired outcomes for the future, rather than focusing upon the problem or events of the past.

My approach is client-centred, caring, empathic and non-judgemental. My therapy room is a private, relaxing, comfortable space in which to offload problems and work toward finding solutions. I provide hypnotherapy recordings for your personal use as well as evidence-based techniques for coping with anxiety, stress, fears, and low mood. Over the past eleven years, I have enabled numerous people to achieve successful outcomes and move forward with their lives.
