Overview

Hi, I’m Helen Wall and I’m a fully qualified and accredited Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist and hold a PhD in Psychology. I’m incredibly passionate about mental health and having taught Psychology for a number of years I have a very strong understanding of how the mind works and appreciate the importance of evidence-based practise.

I became interested in Solution Focused hypnotherapy after suffering from severe anxiety and OCD for many years. My strong background in Psychology helped me to understand my thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a powerful way but Solution Focused approaches actually enabled me to move forward with my life and provided me with lifelong coping strategies. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy provided me with the tools and techniques to identify solutions, generate goals and take back control! After realising the potential that this type of therapy has to change lives in a positive way I decided to train as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist with Clifton Practise known as the gold standard in Hypnotherapy training.

With over 15 years’ experience in teaching, support and personal development in the Education Sector and National Health Service (NHS); I’ve worked with children, teens and adults and supported them to get the absolute best out of themselves and have always enjoyed empowering people to live their life in a way that’s “right” for them.

I have experience of helping clients suffering from anxiety, OCD, phobias, low mood, smoking addiction, IBS, Fibromyalgia, sleep problems and relationship difficulties, among others. I’ve worked with children and adults and have clinics in Speke, Hale and Liverpool City Centre.

I am a registered member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and have an enhanced DBS certificate for working with vulnerable adults and children. I am professionally insured by Holistic services insurance. Clifton Practise is externally regulated and verified by the National Council for Hypnotherapy and NCFE, which means that I engage in Continuous Professional Development and receive regular supervision to ensure I am up to date in my knowledge.
