Please switch to PayPal payments

As the NCH has grown, so has our administration overhead. With over 1800 members now, most of whom are paying by standing order, there is now an awful lot of manual work to cross reference bank statements and ensure members and our accounts are kept current.

Fortunately, our new website allows us to handle member payments by PayPal automatically – which will ultimately help us keep down administration costs, meaning more money will be available to spend on initiatives to directly help you in your practice.

PayPal is a payment processor which some of you may already be familiar with. It is part of the eBay group, and allows you to pay us securely online by credit or debit card, eCheque, and bank transfer (like a standing order). So, it offers plenty of flexibility to you as a member, as well as allowing you to stay in control of your subscriptions.

How do you switch?

Simply visit your member account page and select the membership type you would like (Full members can select monthly or annual) and then order this via PayPal.

You do not need a PayPal account (you can just select to pay with a credit/debit card), but if you decide to create/use a PayPal account, you’ll be able to choose direct bank payments (like a standing order).

Please note that PayPal will start your subscription immediately, so either ensure you are close to your membership renewal date or contact  Margaret Wiggall who can prorate your old subscription if there is more than a month remaining on it.

Student members do not need to switch until the time comes for them to upgrade to full membership.
