18-19 October, 2025 – Hypno-EMDR Practical Skills Workshop

CPD Event title: Hypno-EMDR Practical Skills Workshop

Brief Description Of Event:

This workshop is designed for hypnotherapists and talking therapists to use EMDR approaches within their therapy practice. EMDR works very well within a hypnotherapy practice.

Originally designed to help address traumatic memories, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) facilitates the accessing, processing and resolving of disturbing memories and unpleasant life experiences, whilst addressing negative beliefs and unwanted body sensations about past and future events and promoting supportive positive beliefs. EMDR is a highly useful tool for any professional hypnotherapist. It is most commonly associated with working with trauma, yet is also very helpful in addressing a range of disturbances, anxiety (past, present, future events), phobias and performance concerns.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will gain practical and theoretical understanding of how to use EMDR techniques and principles within their hypnotherapy practice. These can be applied both in-person and online.
