10 November, 2025 – The Art of Processing: Reflective Tools for Resilience in Practice. For the Hypnotherapist & Practitioner

CPD Event title: The Art of Processing: Reflective Tools for Resilience in Practice. For the Hypnotherapist & Practitioner

Brief Description Of Event:

Date: November 10, 2025. Time: 10:30 – 16:30 GMT. Zoom. For hypnotherapists and wellbeing practitioners who hold space for others, this CPD invites you to hold space for yourself.

Therapeutic work is deeply meaningful – but it can also carry hidden emotional weight. This reflective and restorative day offers you the opportunity to process, replenish, and reconnect with the purpose behind your practice.

Learning Objectives:

About this workshop
As hypnotherapists and practitioners, we are present for deep emotional experiences. We witness transformation, hold complex stories, and support clients through vulnerable moments. This can be immensely rewarding – but it also leaves a subtle imprint: emotional residue, energetic tension, and unprocessed material that we absorb session after session.

Over time, this build-up can affect our clarity, energy, and connection to the work.

This full-day CPD workshop provides a supportive, creative space to gently explore and process what you carry in your role. You’ll be guided to reconnect with your own reflective practice in ways that are nourishing, ethical, and sustainable.

Led by Beverley Longhurst – Women’s health specialist, clinical hypnotherapist, and yoga teacher – the day will blend restorative tools such as movement-based hypnosis, guided journaling, and personalised reflective exercises, all designed to help you reconnect with your therapeutic self.

What you will gain

  • Techniques to release accumulated emotional material in a safe and constructive way
  • A strengthened sense of ethical clarity and self-awareness in practice
  • Practical tools to enhance your supervision and CPD preparation
  • A renewed connection to your purpose, joy and resilience as a practitioner

What’s included

  • A live, experiential day via Zoom
  • Movement hypnosis and reflective journaling practices
  • Guided personal reflection with space for optional sharing and discussion
  • A downloadable Reflective Practice & Resilience Toolkit
  • Opportunities to create or refine your own ongoing reflective routine
  • A supportive environment with like-minded professionals

Why this CPD matters
Many therapists are adept at guiding others through their emotional experiences but are less practised at tending to their own. This workshop recognises that emotional processing is a professional necessity, not a luxury.

By integrating body, mind and reflective insight, you’ll leave with tools that support your own resilience – and in turn, help you to continue offering high-quality, compassionate care to others.
